I would like to thank you for the efforts you have put in writing this blog. I'm hoping the same high-grade website post from you in the future too. Actually your creative writing skills has encouraged me to get my own site going now. Really blogging is spreading its wings and growing fast. Your write up is a great example.

    Your mom, my friend
I loved your mom as my friend and spiritual advisor. I knew your mom in San Diego in the 90's, as a part of FOCCUS.

It is with great saddness to hear of Dr. Roberts passing. She spoke often of her children and how much she loved and missed you.

Your mom touched many lives...me among them.

    Always with light & love

    Holly Woodard

    My dear friend Dris
Because of who she is, Dris has a way of moving into your heart and your life with a very subtle presence of love. To me, her message is that everything and everyone is a part of what should be. And, when I spent time with her I would listen, very closely, especially when she was talking with , or about, her children and family. I recognized the all encompassing size of her heart and that magic was always in full display when she was talking about all of you and to all of you. It was an attitude that changed me and the way I looked at the world. ---I think Dr. Dris accomplished what she wanted to, in this life, simply by who she is. She left us all a wonderful gift---and, by her standards, that gift will last for forever.
Thank you for setting up this wonderful websight, Wendy. I don't know any other way that I could reach Dris's entire family. And, to ALL of you I send my love. Dris talked about all of you often.

    Still miss mom
I still miss our Mother, but it was good to read this again. Sorry I haven't done much Wendy but I have been trying not to miss her.
I think I should stop trying.

    MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER DORIS
WENDY, WHAT A WONDERFUL BOOK YOU HAVE SET UP FOR YOUR MOTHER. THANK YOU FOR THIS. YOUR MOTHER, MY SISTER DORIS WAS A PRECIOUS LADY. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER. ESPECIALLY THE TIMES WHEN SHE AND YOUR FATHER WOULD COME AND VISIT US IN R.I. AND MASS. WE HAD FUN FOR THAT SHORT TIME. I STILL REMEMBER HER WHEN WE WERE KIDS, WE WOULD PLAY STOCKING BALL WITH UNCLE TOM AND AUNT EDYTHE IN MANVILLE R.I. WE WOULD NOT BREAK ANY WINDOWS THAT WAY. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. WITH HER, WE HAD A WINNING TEAM AND NOW WE HAVE LOST A TEAMMATE. WE ALL MISS HER VERY DEARLY. SHE WAS A STAR. AND NOW SHE IS A STAR. WE WILL LOOK INTO THE HEAVENS AND PICK THE BRIGHTEST STAR AND CALL IT DORIS.
LOVE, AUNT PAULINE AND UNCLE GEORGE

    Love
Doris was one of those special people who come along once in a lifetime. She had a heart of gold that touched many people. She was inspirational with a quick wit and a true love of life. I miss her tremendously, she was someone I could always talk to about anything. I will always love her very much, and I know that she is in a SUPER SPECIAL place in Heaven, being taken care of in a magnificent way, the way she took care of others.

Fond Memories of the Great Friend and Teacher
I feel so honored to have known Doris and have many fond memories of her as a wonderful friend, roommate, teacher and someone who I respected and always enjoyed being with. She will be greatly missed in the physical form by myself and so many of my friends but she will always live on in spirit through our memories and for that I am so grateful.

    Love for mom
    Aloha

This is a wonderfully done site. I am deeply moved by this great expression of love for our dear mom. Mom's remains are here in our house in Hawaii next to dad's flag along with a picture of them together when they were newlyweds. I truly believe these two soulmates have cleansed and forgiven each other and are back together in a state of love and bliss. I love them both so much. I miss them but I know they are in a better place.

    To Wgcbear
I hope you don't mind but the green was too bland for me, so I made it blue. Mom loves blue although dark blue, But seems I couldn't find choice of dark blue. Also the picture of mom was stretched which made her look strange. So I created a row of pictures from sites that mom had in her album. Then added the picture you had below that. I wrote out the whole poem as well. Then added a photo album page with two old photos there. Lets communicate what we are doing here. I'm sure others wont mind.
Her third and youngest daughter, Karen.

    First Guestbook Entry
This website is dedicated to Dr. Dris and all she was to all of us. The waning years of her life were consumed with anguish. She felt unloved and a burden to everyone including her children. Of course, the reality was she was loved and cherished by all.

We, her children, hope this site will provide a venue for her words and images to be shared by all in honor of the beautiful person she is and always will be.

    Her loving daughter,
    Wendy
